At Leading ("we," "us," "our"), we are committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use our event applications ("Apps"). This policy applies to all Apps developed by us.

1. Information We Collect

The App collects and stores personal data provided by users during event registration, such as name, email address and other information entered at the time of registration. Additionally, we may record user-generated content such as messages exchanged through the App, shared photos, comments, and answers to surveys and ratings.

In certain cases, and with explicit user consent, the App may collect sensitive health data. This will only be done after clearly asking for permission.

Any use of Cookies - or of other tracking tools - by this Application or by the owners of third party services used by this Application, unless stated otherwise, serves to identify Users and remember their preferences, for the sole purpose of providing the service required by the User.

Failure to provide certain Personal Data may make it impossible for this Application to provide its services.

For operation and maintenance purposes, this Application and any third party services may collect files that record interaction with this Application (System logs) or use for this purpose other Personal Data (such as IP Address).

2. How We Use Your Information

• Facilitate event access and participation;
• Provide in-app services such as messaging, content sharing, and event updates;
• Improve the performance of the App through device-specific identifiers;
• Allow the organisation to analyse the impact of the App (metrics, reports)

3. Data Sharing

We do not share personal data with third parties except in the following cases:

• The event organization, which provides and owns the data, has full access to all information stored by the App.
• Data may be shared with third-party service providers strictly for logistical purposes related to the event.
• Promoters of the event may have access to specific metric and data related to their promoted areas/functionalities.
• Data generated through the App will not be used for marketing purposes unless explicitly stated otherwise in the App.
• In some cases, you will be asked to agree to share your contact data with certain users, if you agree this data will be shared with that specific user.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

User data is retained for 30 days after the event, unless otherwise requested by the event organizers or the user. Users may request the deletion of their personal data by contacting us at through the contact e-mail stated above. After the retention period, all data is anonymized and can no longer be linked to any personal identifiers.

5. Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously. All communication between the App and our servers is encrypted. Data is stored on servers hosted by PTISP (www.ptisp.pt) in European data centers owned and managed by Equinix. Both companies follow strict security protocols and have multiple certifications, which are available on their respective websites.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Apps are not directed towards children. We ensure, whenever possible, that our Apps are appropriately restricted on app stores and other platforms to prevent access by children.

7. User Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information at any time. You may also withdraw consent for data collection by contacting us via the e-mail in the beginning of this document.

8. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted in the App and on our website, and you will be notified of significant updates. If you object to any of the changes to the Policy, you must cease using this application and can request to remove the Personal Data by contacting us using the e-mail in the beginning of this document.
