Enhanced by a state-of-the-art mobile app and a virtual platform

BSG Live 2023, a landmark event in the gastroenterology and hepatology community, was held at the ACC, Liverpool, from 19 to 22 June 2023. This event, which was a significant step forward in promoting gastroenterology and hepatology within the UK, was enhanced by a state-of-the-art mobile app and a virtual platform, both developed by SHAKE IT.

The mobile app, designed to provide a seamless user experience, offered neatly organised event information and a unique opportunity for attendees to engage with each other and interact during sessions. This networking platform saw impressive engagement metrics, with an astounding 750 questions asked through the app, averaging over 12 questions per session, demonstrating the power of digital tools in fostering community engagement. 

In addition to the mobile app, SHAKE IT also developed an on-demand platform for remote attendees. This feature allowed them to access over 70 hours of high-quality educational content from the session recordings in a simple, organised interface. Attendees could even build their own playlist, making this on-demand platform a personalised learning hub. The BSG Live 2023 event, featuring prestigious expert speakers and the latest research and industry developments, showcased the potential of mobile apps, virtual platforms, and on-demand platforms in enhancing event experiences and promoting professional growth.
