Creating their exclusive wine list

Sogrape was born in Portugal for the world. Today, it produces wine in the main wine regions of the country and beyond, namely in Argentina, Chile, New Zealand, and Spain. It was also a similar journey that the company wanted to bring to its Sogrape Journey event, taking participants on an unparalleled sensory experience in a distinctive setting, in a physical space divided into 4 areas – FIRST IMPRESSION, SHARING IS LIVING, ENJOY & RELAX, and TIMELESS TOAST. 

An app designed with the physical event in mind 

In an event that aims to be an unforgettable experience, it is absolutely essential that physical and digital experiences go hand in hand. Next to each of the 4 areas in the space, participants found a QR Code on each exhibitor. Scanning these codes led users to the Sogrape Journey App, more precisely to a selection of wines and spirits from the respective exhibition area, so that they could get to know each of the products and available pairings. 

As important as living the experience is remembering and repeating it. In that sense, within each area, participants could select their favourite products, creating their exclusive wine list. At the end of the event, through the “My Menu” option, they also had the possibility to view their wine lists in PDF format and save them directly to their smartphones.

The event, intended for Sogrape partners, initially took place on February 13, in Lisbon. After Lisbon, the Sogrape Journey event was repeated in Porto (exactly one month later) with unique flavours and a diversity of profiles, origins, and brands, in an unforgettable experience that combined sophistication and relaxation.
