A robust and scalable virtual platform for a Medical Congress with 15.000+ attendees
The WINFOCUS World Congress is an event organiszed by the World Interactive Network Focused On Critical UltraSound (WINFOCUS), a scientific network committed to develop Point-of-Care Ultrasound practice, research, education, technology, and networking, addressing the needs of patients, institutions, services, and communities living in out-of-hospital and in-hospital critical scenarios.
With an expectation of over 15.000 registered attendees, the organisation looked at SHAKE IT to build a stable, personalised and flexible platform that could accommodate the particularities of this event, held in Antalya, Turkey, and broadcasted all around the world.
KEY HIGHLIGHTS
- The event was to be broadcasted for 48 hours non-stop in 4 parallel rooms
- Sessions were spoken in more than 8 different languages
- Over 100 side events all around the world could submit their photos to be added to a Share Wall included in the platform
- The platform lobby was personalised to the look of the event, but also to include logos from sponsors
- SHAKE IT provided 48-hour remote support in 3 shifts per day
- A social feed using the congress hashtag was included in the platform
- A clock that was always visible that indicated the time in Antalya
